I retired from a thirty-five year career in hospice and bereavement counseling, at which time I began writing poetry and prose. My work is influenced by my patients’ journeys, the compelling beauty of nature, and the human condition. When not writing, I also enjoy getting lost in the woods, flower arranging, music, and jumping in puddles with my grandchildren. I live near the Jersey Shore with my husband and Bernese Mountain Dog, Dottie.
