“Hey Lily, I saw you got nominated, congrats.” “Yeah I did, thank you Ruby, again for calling back up and hurrying over here so fast.” “Oh yeah any time girl but why did you call me instead of Noah cause he is your manager.” “I did but it was so weird he didn’t answer. It went straight to voicemail, and you were the next person I trusted to help. So I called you.” “Wow that’s weird, Noah has always answered the phone for you. Maybe you should try and call him again to tell him everything is ok.” “That’s a good idea I’ll call him right now.” I grabbed my phone and hit the call button under Noah’s contact and it rang once ranged again and then I heard Noah on the other end of the phone asking if I was ok. The phone call included him apologizing many times for not answering his phone because it was dead and asking if I was ok. Which of course I said I was great. Ruby and I said our goodbyes as she went to start her next case and I went to my apartment and waited for a call to tell me what my next case was. I soon was laying on my bed with my hot pink polar bear, Snowy, wondering. Wondering what's going to happen in the future. Knowing that I couldn’t control it but that it would be great. A few months later I did the Katy case and now I was at the award show. Between the Katy case and the award show I did a lot more cases in Europe and ended up getting to see the whole continent. Also Noah confessed that he liked me more than his client and of course I said that we should keep it professional and that I would need a new manager if this were to ever happen. On top of that it turned out that Ruby wanted to become a manager because she had a few injuries that could take a break from working cases. So now Ruby is my manager Noah is my boyfriend and we were all sitting at a table in the big ball room excited for the award show to start. The host walks out from behind a curtain and says, “Hello to all the top spies in our nation. We are all excited to have you here tonight and we would like to welcome you to the best award show you are ever going to see. We are going to say the award and who was nominated then announce the winner and why they won. Are you all ready for this year's award show?” “Yes!” everyone said excitedly. The first few awards weren’t exciting and didn’t relate to anyone I knew. Then I heard the host say “The next award is for best agent of the year the nominees are,” My heart began to pound so fast. I became so nervous I have dreamed of winning this award for my whole life and now is my only chance to win for at least another year. I got so stuck in my head that Ruby had to slap me across my face to get me out of it. With my face stinging I began to come back to where I was. The award ceremony that I had been to every year since I was little except for the last three because I couldn’t bear to come without my parents but here I am with Ruby and Noah facing this fear to make my parents proud whether I won or not. “… and the last nominee is Lily Johnson. Now for what we have all been waiting for: The winner for best agent of the year is…”
