Thanks Raj. Sometimes you don't need a long story to make a point.

Thanks Jessica. No need to overdo it. I'm not in the same category as you, Sue, Steve, and John. So try to avoid those "sympathy" votes.
LUVYA more!

Seriously??
I still have my Nehru jacket and disco garb. I lived in bright yellow, green, and red polished cotton pants. I hate to throw things out. After all, bell bottoms came back.
Fun poem, thanks for the memories.

In one of my poems, I mentioned you can't know true devotion if you've never owned a dog. This brings out the beautiful truth in a lovely poetic way. I love this poem. Our old friend Robin would have loved it as well.

Hear, hear! Well said indeed. Thanks to both of you for a justified indignation! One thing I can't stand is a liar and a cheat. I guess that's two things?? It's comforting to know we have keepers of the gate, especially when they are as gifted as both of you.

I can't imagine! This is by far the most inspirational and genuine site that I've ever been associated with. The members are supportive and extremely talented. This breaks my heart.

Gee Steve! I had no idea this was going on. How, pray tell, did you get wind of it? It's like someone dumped slime in my favorite watering hole.
By the way, this is a pretty good poetic slam on the culprits.

I see you are a very welcomed newcomer to this site . Welcome aboard! That means that you are probably unaware that the lovely and talented lady who wrote this poem had sadly passed just before you joined. She has been sorely missed.

Pure poetry it is! The imagery is peaceful and comforting. You know I'm a sucker for poems about mothers. Rhyme and rhythm are spot on. This is a little

I usually end up spitting and sputtering with web wrapped around my face!
I ❤️ the poem though!
Your imagery is more poetic than mine would be. Mine would probably be censored. Ha!!

John, you are the purest form of inspiration for me. I can’t tell you how much it means to have a talent of your caliber appreciate my efforts. I never had plans for publication, nor do I now. I simply write to express my feelings. People like you, Steve, and Susan inspire me to get better. But, truthfully you all are more talented than I. This isn't a statement of humility, it's simply the truth.
Thanks for being my friend!

Thank you so much, Kama. She was a special lady. I miss her the most this time of year. Christmas was her and my dad's favorite time, and they spoiled the crap out of us.
What wonderful memories!
