Never-ending! I just noticed that the last word of a stanza begins the next. AHA! I'm not as dumb as I thought!

Wow, you sure know how to tug the heart strings! I think I'll have to brush up on my poetry lingo 'cause now I don't know what a loop poem is. Every time I seem to open my mouth, my ignorance falls out, 'cause Susan had to explain something too.
Whatever you want to call this poem, it's still a beauty.

I figured I'd ask before pulling out the dictionary. I'd probably be a better poet if I had your vocabulary. Ha!

Loved it Susan! It brought me back to childhood days. Excuse my ignorance, but what's a "chuppah"?

Well John, I have to tell you that while you were gone, Susan and Steve have been tearing up the scoreboard. There have been a few very talented newcomers as well. If you decide to jump back into the pool, I'll have to take a long look at my participation because I am grossly outmatched by such talented competition. I might just ride off into the sunset, have a few brewski's, oil my reels and enjoy the fracas! You all can duke it out!

Well said Courtney. Thus comes the saying "Get over it!". If you dwell on the past, you've robbed your future.

Well what do you know? Someone actually read my poem. Thanks for your input.
I try to steer clear of politics, but the obvious bias of the media and entertainment industry is NAUSEATING !

While on a fishing trip in Canada, during shore lunch, I noted a dragonfly had mistaken the shore foam for a rock. It had landed on it and struggled to fly with wet wings. I picked it up and placed it on a rock in the sun. In a few minutes, her wings dried and she happily fluttered away. It gave me chills.

Well Steve. I had this one pinned, and honestly, you were barely edged out by the winner. Any other month would have brought the golden ring. I really enjoyed this one Buddy.

So many wonderful entries this month! It was a difficult choice. In the end what jumped out at me was the tranquility of this poem. I just found it SOOTHING.

The tensions of today's world only make it harder to cope. The brutality of man is impossible to accept.
Thanks for taking some time to comment.
