I can always count on you to comprehend my train of thought. That's why I'm so glad you're back.
Thanks Old Friend!

I'm getting exhausted trying to keep up with you, Susie. Your imagery drags me into La La land. And yet I feel some faint remorse.

I think you have put into words exactly how I have felt at times. But I could write a whole book on the ones that got away. Nice job once again, Susan!

Thanks for stopping by. We have a lot in common. I can’t compete with these other talented poets with their imagery and poetic language. I keep saying I'm just a barroom bard.

Steve stole my thunder. Sometimes I swear you write about how I would react to a situation. I guess that qualifies as "relatable". At any rate, I enjoyed this and everything else you choose to share.

My very favorite time of year is autumn. Albeit the shortest season. But I do enjoy the 4 seasons for their own worth. This aptly portrays the beauty and spirit of autumn.
Once again, you've captured a moment! Well done, Jess!!

Maybe so, but you'll need a poetic vocabulary that I don't possess.

Once again, you've done what I can't. Free verse is out of my comfort zone. But you have mastered the art.

I probably pinned a dozen poems this month. Yours did not go unnoticed. Unique and well-written. Nice job Jon.

I had a hunch you wrote this. It should have faired better. But, Welcome Back! You were sorely missed.

To place in a WEALTH of such fine entries is quite a feat. Keep up the good work!

I came sooo close to choosing this poem I pinned, but went with a Halloween one. Still, this was a worthy winner. CONGRATS! Kristen

Once again, the choice has been extremely difficult. So many wonderful entries to choose from. But the bottom line, as we celebrate Halloween, it seems clear that this one should be the most appropriate.
Well done indeed!

Once again, you've proven your versatility and mastery of the art. Free verse is not something I'd even attempt. You seem to feel comfortable in every genre. You really are a talent my friend.

My dear Donna. I feel your pain. I kept hoping that Robin would win her battle. She became my very first friend on this site. Her kind words and encouragement were what gave me inspiration. She was a gift to all and will be sorely missed!
God Bless Her!

Very clever! I tried an acrostic poem with my "Remember" entry a couple of months ago, but it was a flop because of how it was printed. I had to go back and read yours again. Then my old light bulb flashed. Good job Jess!
As usual.

At my age, I have honestly gone through every emotion imaginable. It's sad to say that an empty feeling might be the most difficult one to cope with. This aptly and poetically describes that feeling.
Well done once again!

You obviously have a broad range of talent, but I think you've found your comfort zone in drawing from the beauty and serenity of nature. This is another example and, as usual very well done.

The truth is platoon sergeants were easy pickin's for Charlie. I received 3 Purple Hearts but it only proves I was too dumb to duck!

I don't know what's wrong with this site all of a sudden. I wrote a nice long dissertation and all that shows up is "congrats Sue" ? Duhhh! My phone was off all day cause I was at a Purple Heart meeting downstate. I loved your rendering cause it managed to starch my shorts. You know I'm much more verbose than that!
