What it feels to drown?
Water is the basis of life, Of existence, of every living cell, and… it can submerge those substances in seconds. It is such an easy way to die. Almost too easy. Too be trapped under waves as clear as glass as peaceful as it may sound, you must be looking up at the surface, knowing your too far deep to even think about escaping You cant tell what is where whats up and down because your brain is so foggy and confused to accept the facts you’re not breathing. Water surrounds you tapping your body which funny enough is made up of 70% water. It’s spurring in through your mouth spreading into ur lungs and body. Its a simple easy yet terrifying way to die. All too excoriating. Dying is a simple yet terrifying task; dying is almost too easy to do on purpose and yet just as easy to do on accident. Although drowning is like an art of death. The panic as your oxygen levels drop and water trickles down your throat submerging your lungs following through into your stomach as you swallow simply because you’re in a panic trying to breathe. Your lungs will collapse and livers will fail as they will become overwhelmed but the surrounding force that isnt as dense as blood. Your mind begins to blur along with the numbness; your body becoming light only leaving the burning sensation of water in places he doesn’t belong. It spills back out your mouth releasing into the ocean that forced it into your body into the first place. You cant hear the attempting screams of the victim thats being held captive by the depths of the ocean; Robbing them of their breath and ability to speak. Lungs cannot supply air to the vocal cords and throat because they are filled with a trespassing substance. But you can feel the heavy weight of your water filled lungs yanking you down, losing your ability to float. Never minding the loose feel of your body slipping away your consciousness slips in and out. Everything you’ve learned about swimming is gone, despite your weightless body, your own skin is heavy and your limbs seem to try to pull you back up with futile flails. They are as good as small stumps and are only hurting your chances of possible recovery of this tragic kidnapping. You can hear the blood flowing through your veins, knowing it’s losing the rich red color as you no longer are supporting the need of oxygen. Your own mind begins to hate you and punishes you by swelling up your veins and making your head pound numb due to the sounds within your head. Blood is all you have and even now it’s turned against you in the possibilities that this is ur last moment, giving you no chance to hear if help is nearing. They’re not You can taste the iron coating your tongue and fill the back of your mouth with a slimy bile, knowing you caused this biting your tongue too hard in an attempt to prevent you from gasping the water in mistake for oxygen. Your body begins to turn blue due to lack of oxygen, your consciousness slips away from you and your mind blurs. You realize you have no hope so you let your body flow with the water and your mind seems to go blank…
