She couldn't remember how she got here, but she felt at peace. It must have been years since she first came but that felt far away too. Probably because it was far away. Millions of years she thought. She didn't really like who she was now. Her hair grew long and thick at her shoulders, her clothes graying and sadder. The rings on her fingers had turned into wood. Her feet had become knarly and worn. Was she getting older? No. She could never be old. She was growing up into a willow. Maybe soon she would become a tree.
