the secret murderer
i wrote the secret murderer because i love writing and its my passion and i love mystery books filled with suspense so i chose to write a short story filled with mystery and suspense
It was a cold windy night, and the air was filled with melancholy. I was fast asleep, lying blissfully unaware of the dilemma that was about to occur. The cold mysterious breeze from the windows made me shudder. Suddenly, I was disturbed by an ominous noise: glass smashed, doors slammed open, and ambiguous shadows covered the walls intensely. I had jumped out of my bed squealing for help. I saw a hand grasping on my door and I couldn't breathe. My heart started to race rapidly,I was terrified, I started to hyperventilate and then I thought, what was I meant to do? What was going on? Will I survive? And who was this person coming into my house at night? Then suddenly there was an array of loud screaming police sirens heading down the streets and the tension in the house rose. What had happened last night? Was it just a dream? I was eating my breakfast and I heard mum and dad talking in the living room. Mum was sobbing whilst dad was trying to comfort her. As I walked down the street to school, I saw posters stuck up on walls, they all said (murderer on the loose.) my heart jumped into my mouth. Was this the same person that I had seen last night? Somehow all my friends knew about the murderer too, apparently he had robbed the whole neighbourhood. And that's when me and my friends decided that we were going to catch him. It would be hard but we were determined, and most importantly we had to keep it a secret! As I walked through the door that night, I saw a peculiar silhouette surrounding the corridor. The room started to close up on me, and the silhouettes creaked in the distance. My heart closed up and pounded. everything in the air paused, not a pindrop to be heard. Was this the end of my investigation or my life?
