The Man Out The Space

All my life I dreamed of going to outer space. It was my first wish as soon as saw the moon landing on TV when I was four years old. Focused on that goal.

Studied, trained, forced myself to reach limits that I don't think I would have crossed otherwise. I forbade myself many pleasures just for the sake of seeing beyond the stars.

And almost thirty years later, I achieved it. I will be one of the first people to go to a space station much further from the moon.

I had the honor of being chosen for that mission. It was a matter of time. Even after waiting so many years, I had never been so impatient.

I wanted to put on the suit and go out. Float in that emptiness.

Stretched out my arms. Saw how I was moving away from the space station, connected by a cable to my suit that allowed me not to drift away.

My hands felt so small as I stood in front of so many stars and trails beyond my vision.

It was an endless void.

Until I hit the end.
