The Little Money Feud
There once was a little boy. This little boy came from a family that only cared for money and power. No one truly loved anyone, they all acted kind towards one another because each had money. No one knew how much the others had only that they had what they could get. The little boy only wanted one thing, love. He always treated his friends with care, never bragged, never flaunted his money. His grandpa, Tata, knew about his family’s care for money. He saw how his nephew only cared for others for themselves and not because of their money. So Tata decided to give his family a test to see if they cared for him and his nephew. The little boy and his grandpa made a plan. The grandpa faked his death The family all gathered to head the will. The executioner read the will aloud. “To my loving nephew…you are given my inheritance. My money, my mansion, my success. And to the others, I leave nothing, for you have been nothing but selfish towards one another” The family was in rage. They didn’t understand what he meant by “selfish towards one another” but they knew one thing…the little boy had the money now. They all looked at the kid. The mother knelt down, looked at the little boy, and smiled. The little boy was given a new legacy, one filled with power and money. His family congratulated him and gave him kudos on his new liability. The little boy looked confused and hurt. He could tell that the family were all faking it, all trying to lead him on. The little boy made it libel that this wasn’t what he wanted. “No, this isn't right! You’re all faking. I don’t want this…I don’t want you to lie…you only love me…notice me…once I have money…you aren’t my family!” The boy ran out of the room and into the house he hid within the garden bushes. His family ran around the house angry yelling at him to give them money. The little boy stayed silent, he cried silently as he heard the threats the others made it caused him to fear for his life because he knew how his family gets when they didn’t get what they wanted. They were little kids wanting candy at a store. Suddenly it went quiet inside the house. All the little boy could hear was the sound of birds chirping and airplanes flying high up in the sky. He walks back into the house the family looks down as they are at the doorway. They all say their sorries to the little boy as he walks in, the grandpa is at the center of the greeting area. “My boy. They may have failed you, but I promise I will not.” The grandpa is holding adoption papers, it has already been signed by the little boy’s mother who is looking ashamed of herself. The little boy ran into his grandpa’s arms and hugged him. Police showed up and took those who threatened the little boy went to jail
