The Legend of Chicken Dog
I saw a dog that looked like fried chicken this morning, and it inspired me to write this.
You may have heard of all the greats Like Chupacabra or Bigfoot or King Kong, the ape But this is a tale of one certain log For it's the legend of Chicken Dog As for its origins, those are unclear The stories are usually spread ear to ear Some say it's a crossbreed from fowl and wolf Others say it was a random dog that a chicken factory engulfed Its eyes are blue, like the calming sea It has the intelligence of a chimpanzee What gives this creature its strange moniker Is instead of having fur, it has orange feathers Good or evil? We don't know Barely any has ever seen it, making them think it's a no-show Some people think the dog is a hermit Others think its found in places that the law doesn't permit The people that have seen it are few, but wise They made notes to record the creature's surprise One person says that it can cluck like a chicken Another says it can lay eggs faster than a mother hen A third person, however, says all that and more For the chicken dog saved them from a wild boar They wrote, "The dog is friendly and especially nice. I think people should give the good dog a wave and a ham slice." As it stands right now, however, the dog's virtually unknown But someday, again, its appearance will be shown Sadly, these reports are just written-down foundings But perhaps you might be the first to give video evidence of its surroundings
