THE CRY”
A cry echoes through the night,
A sound of pain and fear,
A soul in torment seeks respite,
Longing for someone to draw near.
 
The darkness closes in around,
As tears stream down the face,
A heart in pieces, shattered, bound,
Trembles in a desolate place.
 
But within the cry, a hope is found,
A glimmer of light that shines,
A strength to rise above the ground,
To transcend the bleak confines.
 
So, cry on, dear heart, let it out,
Let the pain flow through you,
For in the end, without a doubt,
Your spirit will be renewed.
