The Bird Who Cannot Say A Word

There once was a bird who flew in the sky.  He could not say a word and he did not know why.  He tried for hours and hours even in the thunder, the lightning, and rain showers.  He tried in the sun but it wasn't fun.  It was not his choice to lose his voice.  He even tried to land on his feet but still could not get out one single tweet.  He tried to hoot like an owl but it never came through.  He even tried the cock a doodle doo.  Tried to chirp but that didn't work.  Am I a turkey? Am I a vulture or maybe a robin... Either way sometimes I feel like I just can't win.  He even tried to baulk like a crow but what he did not know is even if he could not say a word he was surely an original and unique bird.  He could fly faster than any bird in the sky and all the other birds could not figure out why.  The bird who could not say a word said to himself, "I might not be able to say a word, not like a falcon, an eagle, or even an osprey but I have skills as good as them".  Now I know for once in my life I'm finally proud and happy, just to be me!
