Offshore

• Short story

								
In a pale, white space, a man awakens and questions his location. "Where am I?" he asks. Suddenly, a young boy appears and calls out, "Daddy!" "Norman? Is that you?" the man responds. The boy and the man embrace. "Daddy, where are we?" asks the boy softly. "I'm not sure-OH!, we're in a spaceship!" the man exclaims. "Spaceships?! I love space!" exclaimed the boy. 
"Yeah, space", said the man. 
"Where are the windows?", said the boy. 
"Don't worry about it, we are now going to go offshore now.", said the man.
"Oh, well ok!, I also just saw a bright glowing star just now! It was great, you should have seen it dad!", replied the boy.
"Ooh, that must have been a star alright", said the man. 

 The man was contained in an indestructible box, surrounding it was a desolate wasteland.
