Michelle
A small shaking hand grips the bead at the end of the string pulling it down. The dim light fills the small room fighting against the shadows to reveal all the room holds. Slowly the small hands pull back the bed covers. Unable to sleep she opens the door decorated with a golden door knob. With every step, the wooden planks groan under the weight of her feet. Squinting her eyes start to adjust to the darkness of the narrow hallway. She slowly opens the door before her and is met with a room taken by the dark of night the moon not apparent. “Chrissy?” she tries to say but it only comes out as a slight whisper. “Chrissy?” she tries again this time loud enough to be heard. With no response, she invites herself in cautiously, careful not to step on the items that litter the floor. “Chrissy?” still a whisper as she stumbles towards the light switch. When her fingertips meet the cold plastic of the switch she notices an odd muffled sound coming from the far end of the room. She presses down on the switch the brightness of the light blinding her for a few seconds. Opening her eyes she is met with the unusually messy room. To Sophie, this was very odd, her older sister was always neat and would never leave her room in such a state. Although puzzled her thoughts were interrupted by the sound again across the room. She looks toward the source of the odd noise. Her eyes land on the closet door slightly open. “Chrissy, is that you?” she says her voice shaking. Mustering all the courage she could she slowly starts walking across the clothes-covered floor all cautiousness for them forgotten. With each step the sounds become louder and louder one being a faint rustling sound when she had first started. She reaches her hand out to the door. “Chrissy?” She tries again, her hand pulling open the door. Looking down she saw red, red was everywhere. In the middle was her little sister, no, a monster resembling Michelle, her eyes were lifeless the whites of her eyes black. Why was there so much red? Then she sees Christine's head on the floor ripped from her torso laying in a pool of red. The head's eyes were lifeless a mix of blood and tears coming out of them the face pale. She looks over at her little sister her hands grasping an arm, some of the flesh having been torn out by her teeth. Sophie screams, the sound like nails on a chalkboard as she turns to run. One of the sweaters littering the floor catches on her leg causing her to fall to the floor. She looks behind her desperately trying to crawl away. The little monster now standing, with no sign of her little sister left just her black eyes and lifeless expression. Michelle lunged towards her. Sophie screams again this time more desperate. Everything goes black. Breathing hard her eyes wide she finds herself sat up in bed sweat beading down her forehead. A dream, it was all just a bad dream. Slowly turning her head she looks beside her bed, starring at her was Michelle Smilling widely her hands behind her back.
