Mia forever
The city was cloaked in the gloomy shade of twilight as Mia walked quickly down the busy streets, her eyes darting cautiously to every shadow. She could feel the oppressive weight of someone’s gaze upon her, a sensation that had grown familiar over the past few months. The memory of her once sweet relationship with Liam had been tainted, leaving her life in a constant state of anxiety and fear. Mia and Liam had met during college, a whirlwind romance that had left her head over heels. He was charming, attentive, and seemed to understand her in ways no one else had. Their relationship blossomed quickly, filled with late night talks, shared dreams, and plans for the future. But as months passed, Liam's charm began to morph into something darker. He had become possessive, jealous, and controlling. The subtle hints of his obsession started small frequent calls, constant texts, and an overwhelming need to know her every move. Mia's breaking point came when she discovered Liam had installed a tracking app on her phone. Horrified and feeling betrayed, she ended their relationship, hoping to reclaim her independence and sense of security. But Liam refused to let go. What began as desperate pleas for a second chance soon escalated into relentless stalking. Each day, Mia would see glimpses of Liam in her peripheral vision. He lurked in shadows, always just out of sight but never far enough away. At first, she tried to ignore him, convincing herself it was her imagination. But the truth became undeniable when friends started noticing his presence too. He appeared at her favorite café, her job ,even outside her apartment. She reported him to the police, but without concrete evidence of his threatening behavior, they could do little more than offer her reassurances. Mia tried to move on, to reclaim her life. She met new people, went on dates, and attempted to carve out a semblance of normalcy. But Liam's shadow loomed large, casting a pall over every new relationship. Each time she saw someone, he would appear, his menacing presence enough to drive potential partners away. The final straw came when she found threatening notes slipped under her door, each one more sinister than the last, warning her that no one else could have her. Mia ducked into a narrow alley, pressing herself against the cold brick wall, trying to steady her breathing. The footsteps grew louder, then stopped. She could hear her own heartbeat, a deafening drum in the silence. Slowly, she peered around the corner and saw Liam standing at the alley's entrance, his silhouette against the dim light. "Why are you doing this, Liam?" she cried, her voice trembling. Liam stepped closer, his eyes shimmering with an unsettling intensity. "Because I love you, Mia. I can’t let anyone else have you. You belong to me." Mia's fear turned to anger. "This isn't love, Liam. This is obsession. You're destroying my life!" His expression hardened, and for a moment, she thought she saw a flicker of doubt in his eyes. But it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. "No one will ever love you the way I do," he said softly, almost tenderly, but the menace in his voice was unmistakable. Summoning every ounce of courage, Mia stepped forward. "I don't want your love. I want my life back. Leave me alone, or I swear I will find a way to stop you." Liam's face twisted with rage. "You think you can escape me? No one else can have you but me Mia. Desperation fueled her next move. Mia turned and sprinted down the alley, her feet pounding Running as fast as she possibly could down the alley Mia had reached a dead end as she was backed against a wall she heard Liams footsteps growing closer and closer untill they again stood face to face, mia trembling in fear falls to her knees, Liam walks up to Mia and gets really close as he whispers in her ear ¨You´ll always be mine Mia, forever¨.
