Love is required
By: Angelina Sbattella
Love can be a challenging journey filled with obstacles and misunderstandings, requiring constant nurturing and compromise. However, genuine love should feel natural and uplifting, enveloping you in warmth, comfort, and a sense of belonging. Unfortunately, even the most secure individuals can get caught in a cycle of overthinking, leading to doubts and fears that diminish their peace of mind. In the pursuit of deepening a relationship, sacrifices are often made that can result in feelings of loneliness and isolation. The vibrant social life and personal joys slowly fade away, leaving behind an emptiness. Furthermore, the realization that the sacrifices made in the name of love are not reciprocated can lead to a profound sense of loss and grief. As time passes, the person may start to feel unrecognizable to themselves, craving love and validation that they are enough. The fear of being a burden prevents them from expressing their needs, leading to increased loneliness and self-doubt. Ultimately, the journey of love should teach valuable lessons about building mutual happiness and self-worth, rather than constant sacrifices that erode one's sense of identity. This journey, though filled with pain and heartache, leads to self-discovery and the understanding that one deserves a love as giving and supportive as the love they offer. It is a journey towards finding the love that feels right, like home.
