Alina Maddox grew up as a bright and smart kid, because her father was always there for her and her siblings when her mother wasn't around. At age 19, George was killed by Mafia Leader Xavier, and his ruthless, dominating, businessman son, Tristan Turner. Ever since she found out her father had passed, she became dark and lonely. She was adamant to seek revenge on Tristan. Her plan would have probably worked if it wasn't for her encounter with him. Tristan was informed that someone from George's company had been messing with his and he believed it was Alina, though it wasn't. He sent his cousin on his behalf to make her attend a gathering he was holding at one of his mansions in Los Angeles, California. Their encounter was intense, and she wasn't thinking when she told him that he deserved what had came his way. He was determined to punish her for her disobedince and attitude towards him. He made her come with him to a different state and held her in one of his mansions. Days, weeks, and even months passed with her around him. He looked at her with not only dominance, but compassion. Something about Alina lured Tristan to her, making him fall for her while she held disgust, terror, and pain towards him. How all their feelings continue to be shown in strange ways, slowly changing. Throughout their story, time and their presence by one another is what drew them closer to each other. Alina never meant to fall for him, and neither did Tristan. Never would they admit that they feel something or allow themselves to love one another. They both had no clue what they were or where fate will take them, but eventually, their hate turned to love. After falling for Tristan, does she still have it in her heart to get her revenge on him despite her feelings for him? Because of who and how Tristan was, how could he be who Alina wants or needs? Will he change his ways for his feelings for her either? Read to find out.....
