Imagination
Imagination is a place you can feel from your heart.
Spring 24
Have you ever thought about what it would be like to travel back in time? Of course, we don't actually want to go back in time, but we can certainly learn from the past! Let's consider the story of a 17-year-old girl named Kay, who had a passion for becoming a cartoon artist. Despite her dreams, she kept her ideas to herself, not even sharing them with her parents. Kay often found herself dreaming of her goals and hoped they would someday become a reality. One day, while leaving school, Kay got stuck in a malfunctioning elevator. She was terrified but did everything she could to try and fix it. Suddenly, she was transported back in time to a place called HollyJollyDollyTown, a world where people's creations lived as their alter egos, feeling at home and cared for in a vintage and slightly darker setting. In this world, Kay transformed into a character named BrightEyes, a black and white figure reminiscent of the 1930s-40s era. While unsure of why she was there, BrightEyes felt a strong urge to find a way back home. Along her journey, she encountered a group of cartoon characters and learned that her mission was to unite them against The Author, a villain who kept their creations suppressed for monetary gain. Ultimately, BrightEyes succeeded in her mission, and as she met Kay in her dreams, she realized the importance of pursuing one's passions and happiness. Kay was encouraged to follow her dreams and embrace her talents, knowing that success comes from doing what brings joy, not from feeling inadequate.
