You don’t have to enjoy being around everyone, but sometimes you have to learn how to do the dance in getting along with people that you see all the time. Whether it’s on the workforce, or in your family or extended relatives, or whatever it is. You can develop confidence. You can be become as outgoing as you need to be. I now have lots of friends, these decades later, who are reserved but confident and successful. I also know how to deal with people who are extroverts, people who are kind and how to handle myself around people who are less than pleasant at times. Life is good. The best is yet to come. It’s important to have hobbies, a good work ethic, and an abiding faith and practice those disciplines. Rance and I had one child who is now 40 and successfully married with two kids and has a good career. I’ve had an excellent marriage and God has been good. Life is good.
