They met Bapanaki at his throne house at the door. “Are you ready for the journey back?” Bapanaki asked in his headwear. “We have everything we need.” Aimlon said. “Not everything,” He led them into the throne house. “You will be accompanied by Klanka and Karatia, the finest warriors and navigators in my villa.” There they stood, the man who informed Bapanaki of their arrival, and the female warrior who led the party, he was a burly man who was missing an eye and two of his fingers on his right hand. She was a beautiful well defined woman with long red hair. “They will lead you to safety through Faltron territory, with them at your side it will be safe travels. They all bowed to one another, and another thing.” He handed Aimlon a sack of dried beast. ”It will help you stay vigilant.” And so the brothers and the warriors left the villa opposite of their entry and began the journey back. Bordon could hear the spherical cube saying to him. “Keep me safe, there will be war.” They rode the same beasts the warriors approached them on, they were very fast, it cut the journey that would have been taken three and half days down to one, they also took a path that was different from the path the brothers had arrived by. They did not pass the monolith the boys had slept by. Each of them had their own steed; it was as if the beast knew where to go, they needed no instruction besides a few words spoken by the Kalokians. Before long they were in Faltron territory and began to ride faster. “Do you think we will run into that dwarf?” Aimlon asked “It is certain,” Bordon replied. “ He is also not a dwarf; he is just a little person, dwarfs have yellow skin and are slightly taller.” Bordon smiled. Klanka scoffed; he seemed to recognize the word dwarf, Karatia was undisturbed and continued looking forward with what seemed to be an angry, almost disappointed look to her. They were coming closer to the river, the trees had eyes, they were being watched by the Faltron and at one point heard and a horn, the steeds ran even faster now. A young Faltron boy, fell out of the tree in front of the party, the leaves above them rustled, he was wearing blue shorts and a helmet with three horns that was flung of his head, soon he was trampled by all four steeds, twenty four hooves had turned him into a bloody paste that leaked all over the road. His final face was one of grimace and fear, he begged them to stop with the look in his eyes, to stop would have been an ignorant decision. It was an obvious trap to the kalokians. Klanka shouted and smiled back to the brothers who had a confused look on their faces. The boy was no older than a boy who had just learned a craft, a waste to say the least. “Pity.” Bordon said in a somber tone. “They are savages.” Aimlon whispered. “I would rather have them fight for us than the opposite, besides how many children have Faltron ended, I wager they have killed more children than adults.” “Still, it was just a child.” “Many more children will die, this is a cruel place with even worse people. Who are we to pass judgment, that child could have grown up to be one of the worst, in one death we very well would have saved a hundred.” “The blood would not be on my hands I’ll tell you that much!” They both looked forward toward the river which they could now see. A boat sat at the end of the road; it was the little man’s boat. The brutes' heads peaked above the bank and one brute dropped his head and picked it up to reveal the short man who had a sinister smile that was barely close enough to make out. They were now upon them. “Grarion.” Klanka said aloud. The boys looked at one another and then looked at the stumpy man. “Klanka, you remember me, after all I am the one who bit your fingers off and killed your family.” Grarion laughed. “Those boys and I have a deal, if you and the beautiful woman turn around and leave I will only kill the boys, oh wait I forgot you only speak that disgusting language, I guess we will kill you all.” He said as he looked at Karatia. “We have no deal with you!” Bordon shouted. “Oh you don’t, I’ll pry the spherical cube from your dead fingers.” Grarion grimaced and his team of brutes began to move forward. The kalokians readied their spears and charged and stabbed the first two brutes through their heads. Before they could pull their spears free, the next two were upon them. Aimlon pulled his whip blade and began whipping and slashing that brute now focused on Aimlon. Aimlon wrapped the whip blade around his neck and pulled cutting all the veins in the brutes neck he fell down and began gasping for air. The three of them dismounted it was three against six now, Bordon and his steed ran to keep the spherical cube safe. Their spears and whip blade in hand one by one they slayed the brutes with stabbing and slashing, until the last unmounted brute picked up Klanka and broke his back over his knee and picked up Aimlon by his head and began to squeeze. As he is dangling Bordon stabs the brute through the neck with a broken spear and he drops Aimlon. “Wow, good work, but you’ll never defeat the entire Faltron clan!” Grarion said in a squeaky voice, as he sat on the brutes' shoulders. Many members of the Faltron clan presented themselves from behind the group. Bordon’s eyes begin to glow dark red and he pulls the spherical cube from his pocket and and presses it against the brutes chest, as the brute grabs Bordon arm, Bordon can feel the weakness in his hand and he dropped leaving Grarion slamming against the ground, as his life is seemingly sucked out of his body. Everyone stared Aimlon, Karatia, Klanka stared from the ground with his broken back, and the whole forest stared in awe of what they witnessed. “You killed my brother Gardos!” Grarion screeched. “You will all be gutted!” He ran as fast as his stumpy legs could carry him but his foot was grabbed by Klanka and Klanka turned his head all the way around before throwing his body into the river. His body drifted but soon it was engulfed by massive teeth that dragged his little body underneath. The group stared back at the Faltron clan who all began to kneel. The brothers and Karatia nodded at each other and helped Klanka to the back of his steed and they rode off into the simply lit forest once again. The boys trudged in Gavel’s tabur once again and sat in the same booth they always did; they managed to make it back without speaking a word. “Thanks for saving my face back there, he almost turned my head into mush.” Aimlon said. “No problem, brother.” “What was that, with the glowing eyes and all.” “My eyes were glowing?” “Yes, dark red.” “I haven’t the slightest clue, I heard the Spherical cube tell me to press it against his chest, it was as if my arm wasn’t my arm.”
