Eclipsed
In shadows deep, her heart torn and cold, A life adrift in silence, dark and still, Until he came, a story yet untold, A light that warmed her heart, a balm to heal. His laughter was a song her soul embraced, His touch, a cure for wounds that time had left, Yet fate, unkind, left love in a shadowed space, And in the night, she faced a love bereft. Now in her chest, a void echoes weep, She holds his memory, tender and forlorn, His presence fades where once her heart would leap, A ghostly warmth in nights so cold and worn. Her tears, a testament to love's brief flight, A beacon lost within the endless night.
