Beyond love is obsession

Your melody out of tune, trying to find its muse; 
I paint every note, every string you pluck, and every strand of your bow that releases from the absurdity of your playing; 
You play the way you wish you could speak, as your curse drags you into the abyss of silence; 
Oh, how I wish I could save you from your inevitable doom, but I too, am fated to meet the same demise; 
But I yearn for your soul, I desire for your mind, I am in shackles with the temptation of wanting to drown in the suffering you want to escape; 
Selfishly, as much as I want to save you, I want to become your freedom; 
Even if I can never be free of myself; 
I am your monster, the one who keeps you trapped within every stroke of my brush; 
My hand will paint you until we're met with death, 
And you shall bear witness to it all as I spiral down alongside you; 
Although you cannot speak, your notes talk in the agony you feel; 
I will live every day knowing, that you do not love me; 
But instead wish I were dead.
