One day a bird on his way came to be upon a stormy day
The crystal clear skies full of clouds dark as the night
There came a loud crash of sound an a strike as bright as the light that blinds
On an on it went with calming sounds of drops landing in puddles all around
No dry place to stay out of the rain anywhere in sight
It continued for what seemed like hours slowing down as time went by
Are stepping out in to the clear night air all seemed to have let up and no more rain fell
As the nest laid in the branches all secure a egg began to move
Our came a new life to share the ways of nature to the next generation
