A calm before the storm
Jamie Remy, a very intelligent black girl, beat up from a traumatic childhood. A 16 year old walking through life as a drifter, rushing through her education so she can figure out herself, she had a troubling upbringing, but considering the circumstances she still retains emotions and morality. Her troubling past has made her curious of the dark, of the weird, and the horrific, getting her into some pretty peculiar situations. Storms have always scared Remy, but she is very curious of what lies within. One night, September 7th, of 2004, a massive thunderstorm rolled into her tiny neighborhood in Charlottesville Pennsylvania. Remy finally gained the courage to run into the storm, to quell her curiosity. Remy gripped her hands together, sweating profusely, "I got this" she said In her head. She opened her front door and stared, the storm was moving fast, "I have to act now" she ran into the storm, darkness swelled within her, she passed out. Waking up in her room she expected to open the curtains to a sunny day, instead she opened up to another storm, "weird, it's the next day, maybe it's still storming" she went down stairs and checked the calendar, her mom always marks what day it is, specifically. It's still marked September 7th, and it's the same time as when she ran out. She opened the door once more, seeing the all too familiar storm, she didn't hesitate she ran as fast as she could towards the darkness, this time, she got caught in the storm, rising into the storm she saw horrific monsters, angels but with twisted features, angels with 30 eyes and 15 wings, she started to scream but realized she can't. Its muffled within her head, the monsters charged her, she woke up in her bed once again, "no way, not again" she ran to her window, stormy, and ran downstairs, September 7th, "what the hell is happening to me" she ran outside, but instead this time, the monsters were waiting for her. She ran back inside and locked the doors, "maybe if I stay inside, and do not go outside, it'll stop" the house was silent, looking for her parents she realized, they aren't home, and haven't been. The darkness swallowed the home, leaving it in complete darkness, Remy started to cry and ran upstairs to her bed, hiding under her blankets, all she heard was rain hitting her aluminum roof. She fell asleep with dry tears in her eyes, waking up once more, "please not again" she opened the curtains and saw the storm she feared. Anger swelled within Remy. "Not again, not this time" she ran downstairs to a bright and lively home, but still no mom or dad, she went into the garage and found a baseball bat, gripping it in her hands she walked onto the front porch, nothing, just rain and an approaching storm. "F*ck this" she ran and ran until the storm met her. Again twisted beings try to toy with her mental health, they try to steal her humanity, with bat in hand she gave into her primal rage and started to beat the angels to death, every last one of them, and rip them apart. As the last "angel" was gasping for one last breath of air, it said, "I still love you", she smashed its head into pieces. Instead of relish in what she had just done she woke up in her bed once more. "No no no" pulling the curtains back she saw a sunny day, "oh thank God" but she had an eerie feeling with it, she walked downstairs, and to her absolute horror, she saw her dad, mom, and siblings body parts sprawled out all over the floor. Busting out crying she realized it was all a horrible hallucination, she murdered her entire family in cold blood. Instead of wishing for a sunny day, she wishes back the storm to take her forever, so she may never hurt anyone ever again.
