After hearing what the police officer said,

I frantically said “It was Lisa she did it to protect me”

At this very moment I didn’t know what else to say. My body felt so tight it was like it froze. Is this what they felt like back during the ice age when they didn’t have any clothes? My body felt so weak a feather could break me. I also felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

Chad was no more!

I didn’t have to deal with him constantly beating me up or stealing my money and food every day. Is this what It feels like to be free? Nothing is holding me back anymore. I don’t care that I get looked at as weird anymore; the person that I hated the most is now gone forever. I started to hate Chad the moment he stole the girl I had a crush on, the moment they became best friends he took her away from me. When she died I was also broken. I didn't have the means to live on anymore.

She was my only reason for living.

Chad wasn’t going to let me off that easy for taking away his best friend. It wasn’t my fault that she got into that crash; her parents were the one that ran that red light and was speeding. It wasn’t me she was not cursed. These thoughts didn’t last long as I remembered what the policeman said. I thought back to what he said. The one thing that he said that stood out to me was that.

IT WAS ME WHO GOT RID OF THEM!!!

Lisa blamed me for their disappearance. I sat there in silence looking at the policeman even though I was happy that Chad and his friends were gone. It was me that did it. I tried to hide my smile from the officer. I decided to bite my tongue and think of the pain instead of smiling. 2 minutes went by and I still haven’t said a word. The officer got up and walked out for a minute, so I had some time to myself to think about all of this. As the officer walked out Ratio appeared when he showed up he cut off the cameras so that he wouldn’t be seen. I didn’t know what to say to him. Should I be upset or happy to see him? Ratio sat down and looked me in the eyes with a concerned look on his face. This was the first time that I've seen him worried.

“You don’t know anything about the Unknowns, and it’s better for you not to know anything. She’s the cause of everything in your life, she's the cause of it. You need to leave here with me now there with her” Ratio frantically said.

“What are you talking about? I feel like I'm the most alive right now, don't try to take that away from me Ratio. All my problems just went away in the blink of an eye.” Edward gleefully

“Listen you may not understand, but she’s the reason why your life-” Ratio gets cut off

BOOM!!!

“What was that noise and who is this you keep talking about Ratio?” Edward questioned what Ratio was saying.

“It’s Lisa she’s using you, you’re her little experiment she wants to make a human into an Unknown. Last night after you went to sleep she used your body to do those things to Chad and his friends. She’s the reason why your crush got killed in that car crash. She’s the reason why your parents are never home. Look Edward, your dad was the person who wrote her book, your mother was the person who turned it into a movie. Every morning it wasn’t your parents who went and woke you up it was her she’s been with you forever Edward. Your dad was the person who created every single Unknown now Lisa and the other Unknowns want to make you one of them, they want you to suffer just like how your dad made them suffer! I want to take you away from them and have you destroy all of them. Take my hand, I'll get you out of here and help you get rid of all of them” Ratio Leaving his hand out.

What should I do?

Should I take his hand… or should I stay here and let things play out?

“We don’t have time for you to think! Lisa here and is ready for you are you with me or not” he shouted

At that moment a thought came to my head: what if he’s telling the truth? I want to know more about my parents and also the Unknowns. If I take his hand everything will change and my life will change. I want to know what it means to be happy, to have friends, and to have a family. After this I will know the complete truth, I will know what my purpose of living is. I reached my hand out and grabbed Ratio big and strong hand, it’s time to learn the truth about the Unknowns and why my dad created them. As soon as I grabbed Ratio’s hand Lisa busted in rushing to grab me before I headed in the place where Ratio was taking me. The last thing that I heard from Lisa was a loud scream.

“Your blood isn’t safe from me. I will find you and make you pay for making me suffer over and over again” an exhausted Lisa shouted.”

Once we got to the place where Ratio was taking he sat me down and looked me in the eyes.

He told me “It’s time you learn the truth. I will tell you about your dad and the history of the Unknowns. I will tell you how important you are and why your parents left you for the Unknowns.”

I want to know who I am. Also, who are my parents, and how did my father make the Unknowns?
