We all sat around and talkingtalked, catching up, and how life was growing up. W e was starting to get carried away when we realized a knock on the door saying that it was time to wrap it up, so even though it seemed like time flew past us, we reluctantly got up, but we wasn’t weren’t ready to split up after all, it has been more than a decade + since we had been in each other’s presence. We then exchanged information we shared one last embrace before it was time for us to separate. Once we were done, we were dismissed back to our class. We were on cloud nine, floating back to our rooms! ( Jasmine had a cellphone, and that's how we would keep in contact with our siblings) **** Quita’s Graduation Party -2007- Through it all, I could always depend on my sister Jasmine. No matter what we may have been going though, I knew regardless, I could always count on her. She was and is always in my corner, right/wrong/indifferent! She’s always had my back! ****. -2007- Jasmine was 17, and I was 16. We were living at home, but me and Jasmine were up to no good, and we were planning a mischievous plan! Jasmine and I had made secret plans to go to a party where our biological family was throwing a graduation party, and at this party, we would be meeting our family members for the very first time. **** “Jasmine and I had a Neighborhood friend, and we had made a plan, saying that we were going to Kentucky Kingdom” (which Is an amusement park. Now it was time to go and execute the plan! We even went as far as saying that the friend's brother was going to be the one who would be the one taking us back and forth! Sounds simple, right? Well, in all honesty, my sister had a “boyfriend” who was going to be the one who took us to the party and bring brought us back. It had become the time for us to start walking down to our friend's house . So the plan was in full effect , and after, we said our goodbyes and then walked down the street to our friend's house. The boyfriend was already waiting in position down there, waiting for us. *** Once we were in the truck, we were in the clear, ; we headed down there, playing and listening to music, getting ready for an introduction. Our nerves were fine until we reached the party t. Then they were in full effect, but we pulled it together and hopped out of the truck, just to be greeted by our brother James who then asked, “are Are yall ready”? We answered, “Yeah” ,,” all nervous. This would actually be the first time meeting our biological family members for the first time, so yes, our nerves were on ten, but we had come this far, t. There was no turning back now. *** James then began walking around, introducing us to different parts of the family members. We got to meet a lot of aunts and uncle's, cousins and the whole shebang! Then it was time to meet the woman of the day, our sister Quita, once we finally made it over to her. We held a long and loving embrace, before we sat down, and then, for the next couple of hours , we sat and talked for a while. We occasionally got up and ate, talking to more family before we realized that All good things must come to an end. It was getting late, and we knew that meant the amusement park would be closing soon, so it was time to get our game face on and press play! We slowly started saying our goodbyes and exchanging information, and even though we really didn’t want to leave, it was time to make our way back. It was game mode on!*** As we were driving back home, we began to discuss our game plan. As we were getting closer, Jasmine then made a phone call to the stand stand-by friend who was on standby waiting for the call to check and see if there was any commotion going on. When Jasmine got off the phone, she said that "J" said that my mom and siblings came down there to see if we were back yet and where we were at. Luckily "J" was home alone, so there were no cars in the driveway, so when they came knocking and ringing the doorbell ‘J’ just ignored it and stayed upstairs in her room. **** Now pulling into our neighborhood Jasmine and I were seated low near the floorboard of the truck, but we was were positioned with our heads at a level to where we could still look out of the window, ; our house was the first in the neighborhood, we were still sitting low, we noticed that our house was calm no lights on except for a small lamp in the front everything seemed calm.., until we drove a little further until the further we noticed our mother and our two siblings were walking down from the direction from where the friend lived. We just made sure we were low enough in the truck as we rode through. The truck windows were tinted so we could see out, but they couldn't se
