He was a nice kid, a sweet boy. But not really perceptive. I flicked my dead cigarette butt towards my shoes off to the side, I took them off a while ago. Turning around I step onto the ledge, my back facing the street as I get a perfect glimpse of the sunrise from the added height. Staring off into the sky as my face becomes numb to the cold wind and as the sound of the city below me turns to static in my ear. That beautiful static, drowning the world out when I don't want to listen. I watch as the light from our sun burns away all of the constellations and stars that were there moments before. The light flooding the sky with colors too beautiful to capture. 
A breathtaking view to have as I let gravity take me.
